Are you an ally to the LGBTQ+ community? Do you want to help with safeXmas?

Your donations go to pay for rooms, gifts, food, and help with bus fare and travel. Your donations are not tax-deductible. Although we may seek nonprofit status at some point, this is currently just a labor of love.

Our budget breaks down like this, planning for 50 guests:

• Lodging: $3500 (includes gratuity for hotel staff)
• Food and infinity snacks: $1000 (this may vary because sometimes I give up trying to be responsible and order a shload of Denny’s for everyone at midnight)
• Gifts: $1000 (if you prefer to purchase gifts directly, here is a list of queer artisans who have agreed to create gifts for safeXmas with your financial support)
• Travel: $300 (helps to assist with bus fare, lyft/uber, gas money)
• Postage: $200 (for gifts we mail to those who cannot attend)

If you have airline miles to use, we do have folks from out of state who would like to attend. Use the contact form to reach us and we’ll work it out.

Allies: If you would like to sponsor a space in a group room for one or more people, for one to two nights, there are options below.

Guests: Group rooms will be covered by donations. If you prefer a private room for yourself, contact us and we will make arrangements with the hotel for you to get our discounted rate.
